Brief Explanation
Just a quick note about this story
I promise to not spam y'all a whole lot. I just wanted to explain some stuff.
First, the story as posted will change, I have a bunch of edits to correct issues in tense and grammar, general editing. No change to the story as it stands, nothing huge, no plot changes.
Second, this story does have an ending, but it'll be a while before we get there. It doesn't end in this timeline, for instance.
Third, thanks for reading this! You've gathered it borrows heavily from my life, and I'm writing it as a sort of therapy. One question that was brought up by my friend Stacey is central to this story and to all of our actual lives: why continue? Why bother? I'll be hitting on that more and more.
Anyhow, thanks for reading. The story will continue, and I'll post continuations as I write them. Expect one tomorrow.
Jason

One thing to think of in mormon history is that of the General Order. When the church members first moved to utah times were tough all the church members pooled all their possessions and resources to care for everyone too the point of everyone living in basically barracks with separate ones for men, women and children. Something like this might have been attempted again though with the viruses not being gentle on crowded conditions. and all members of the church are commanded to keep a years supply of food and fuel for the household. fuel is very rarely done and often the food is dry pack buckets of wheat and pails of honey (seige food and the cheapest method) they call it. But a minority does keep higher grade supply's including a years supply of mre packs per person (bulky and expensive).
